Professional Experience
Attorney Anoop Prasad joined Reeves and Associates in September 2007. He is an associate attorney in the firm's San Francisco office, representing clients before the USCIS for adjustment to permanent residence (Green Cards) & naturalization hearings, waivers of inadmissibility & clients in removal proceedings.
Prior to joining Reeves & Associates, Mr. Prasad represented indigent individuals in asylum and removal proceedings with the Gillis Long Poverty Law Center. In addition to representing individuals before the EOIR and BIA, Mr. Prasad litigated the indefinite detention of individuals in immigration custody and challenged a state law restricting the ability of non-citizens to drive.
Previously, Mr. Prasad worked with a law firm in Houston, Texas handling employment based immigration cases.
Education
Mr. Prasad obtained his J.D. (Juris Doctor) from the Loyola College of Law with a Certificate in International Law. Mr. Prasad obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree from Tulane University. He was admitted to the California Bar in 2007.
