Our attorneys’ professional experience and credentials include an average of ten years experience, Board Certification in Immigration Law by the State Bar, prior service with the U.S. Embassy and United States Citizenship and Immigrant Services (formerly INS), employment with the U.S. immigration courts and other government agencies. One of our associate attorneys also serves as the liaison for the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) with the immigration judges in Southern California. In 2006 and again in 2007, two of our attorneys, Robert L. Reeves & Nancy E. Our founder and managing attorney, Robert L. The firm is organized into four practice groups: Business/Employment, Family Reunification and Naturalization, Deportation Defense, and Litigation and Appeals. Reeves & Associates attorneys and staff specialize in these areas, and when necessary, combine their experience and expertise in a team effort to assist our clients.

The Business Employment Practice Group provides comprehensive immigration services to emerging and established business enterprises, individual entrepreneurs, investors and professionals. We also serve corporate clients seeking to expand their companies and hospitals recruiting health care professionals. Additionally, Reeves & Associates  represents individuals interested in immigrating to the United States through investments or through their extraordinary ability in a particular field or professional vocation.

The firm’s practice also covers talent and research-based visas on behalf of entertainers, athletes, medical professionals, scientists, and researchers. This practice area includes J-1 waivers of home residency requirements and national interest waivers.

Reeves & Associates is committed to reuniting families.  Our Family Reunification and Naturalization Team enjoys extraordinary success in its practice on behalf of spouses and children of immigrants including “age-outs,” adoptions, and establishing U.S. citizenship for persons born abroad. We represent clients for waivers for grounds of inadmissibility, removal of conditional resident status including good faith marriage and hardship waivers, and abused spouse petitions under the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA).

Reeves & Associates lawyers perform a comprehensive examination of the facts and laws relevant in each case and thoroughly prepare clients prior to any USCIS interview or hearing.
The Deportation Defense team members are experts in representing clients for cancellation of removal for permanent and non-permanent residents, waivers for grounds of inadmissibility and deportability, political asylum, and withholding of removal.

Our attorneys also seek post-conviction remedies including removal or modification of past convictions in order to mitigate immigration consequences of pleas in criminal matters. The Deportation Defense team works closely with the litigation attorneys for Writs of Habeas Corpus with the U.S. District Court. Reeves & Associates also represents clients appealing decisions to the Board of Immigration Appeals, Administrative Appeals Office, U.S. District Courts, Circuit Courts of Appeal, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

The firm also represents clients for Writs of Habeas Corpus and petitions for review in detention matters, mandamus and injunctive actions for unjustified USCIS delays, declaratory relief, and for class action litigation.
