Professional Experience
Attorney Myra V. Azucena joined Reeves & Associates in March 2006. She is currently working as an Associate Attorney in the Family Reunification and Deportation Defense Departments at its Pasadena, California offices. Ms. Azucena represents clients before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for permanent residency, citizenship and asylum. She also defends clients in deportation proceedings before the U.S. Immigration Courts.
Ms. Azucena served as an Immigration Attorney prior to her employment at Reeves & Associates. She represented numerous clients in deportation proceedings, naturalization and for permanent residency status. In 2004, Ms. Azucena interned at the Federal Defenders of San Diego, Inc. and counseled immigration clients for the Southwest Center for Asian Pacific American Law.
Education
Ms. Azucena obtained her Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree in Legal Studies and Sociology from the University of California at Santa Cruz in 2001, and obtained her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from California Western School of Law in San Diego, CA in 2004.
Memberships and Activities
Ms. Azucena was admitted to the California State Bar in June 2005 and is a member of the Immigration Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association
