Mr. Reeves is board certified as an immigration law specialist by the State Bar of California. The firm was founded in 1980 with the goal of providing cost-effective legal solutions for businesses and individuals. Mr. Reeves lectures on various immigration-related topics, including immigrants' rights and federal court proceedings involving the USCIS and serves as a distinguished radio and television commentator. His cases have been published in Interpreter Releases, Immigration Briefings, and American Immigration Lawyers Association Monthly which are nationally recognized immigration periodicals widely read by immigration lawyers, the State Department and USCIS officials. Some of Mr. Reeves' cases also are cited in legal textbooks which serve as a guide to other immigration practitioners. Mr. Reeves also publishes a weekly immigration news column providing up-to-date information to the business and the immigrant communities.

Education
Attorney Reeves graduated with honors, cum laude, from the City University of New York in 1975 and obtained his law degree in December 1979 from Pepperdine University School of Law and has been practicing immigration law since graduation.

Professional Licenses
Robert Reeves was admitted to the California State Bar in 1980, is licensed to practice law before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the District Courts for the Central and Northern Districts of California and the California State Supreme Court.  

Employment History
Robert Reeves, prior to founding the Law Office of Reeves and Associates, served three years in the United States Army and ten years in the New York City Police Department.
