Professional Experience
Sarah E. Dooley is an associate attorney in the Reeves & Associates Los Angeles Office. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Dooley was an attorney advisor to the Los Immigration Court. In this position, Ms. Dooley provided counsel and advice to the Los Angeles Immigration Judges and gained critical insight to the decision-making process in deportation and removal proceedings.

Immediately following her graduation from law school, Ms. Dooley was a judicial law clerk to the Superior Court of New Jersey, Family Division. She later served as a staff attorney at Inland Counties Legal Services in Indio, California, representing clients in civil and family cases before the Superior Court of California.

Education
Ms. Dooley received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration cum laude from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. While in undergraduate school she studied abroad in Ireland, the Dominican Republic, and Greece.

She earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of New Hampshire School of Law in Concord, New Hampshire. During law school, she was a teaching assistant and the president of the Women's Law Student Association. As a student attorney in her law school's family practice clinic, Ms. Dooley represented children involved in custody and visitation disputes. She also interned in the corporate immigration department of a large regional law firm where she assisted companies, hospitals, and integrated health systems in obtaining immigrant and nonimmigrant visas for their employees.

After law school, Ms. Dooley obtained her Masters of Law (LL.M.) with Merit from the University of London where she studied comparative immigration law. Her LL.M. dissertation, "Médicins avec Frontières (Doctors with Borders): United States Immigration Law for Medical Doctors and Its Effect on the American Physician Shortage," analyzed whether the J-1 visa program assigned to foreign physicians effectively meets the healthcare needs of the United States.

Admissions
Ms. Dooley is a member in good standing of the State Bars of California and New Jersey. She is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Central District of California and the District of New Jersey.
