PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Attorney Anthony J. Favero joined Reeves & Associates Pasadena Office in August 2009. Since joining the firm, Mr. Favero has successfully represented numerous individuals before United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Immigration Courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the Administrative Appeals Office. Mr. Favero focuses his practice exclusively on U.S. Immigration and Nationality Law.
Mr. Favero has secured lawful permanent residence and U.S. citizenship for numerous clients before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services in Los Angeles, Santa Ana, San Bernardino, San Diego, Chula Vista, and Las Vegas, Nevada. He appears before USCIS in applications for adjustment of status, naturalization, and derivative citizenship. Mr. Favero has experience representing military members and their families before USCIS in applications for immigration benefits. He also has extensive experience representing individuals applying for permanent residency pursuant to the Child Status Protection Act ("CSPA").
In addition, Mr. Favero has significant experience before the U.S. Immigration Courts. He has successfully represented clients in deportation and removal proceedings before both the Executive Office for Immigration Review and the Board of Immigration Appeals. Mr. Favero also assists clients in securing immigrant and non-immigrant visas through the U.S. Department of State. He is also a member of Reeves & Associates' Federal Litigation Department.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Favero worked for the U.S. Department of Justice as an attorney advisor for the Executive Office for Immigration Review. In this position, Mr. Favero worked within the Los Angeles Immigration Court drafting decisions and conducting legal research for numerous immigration judges. He also gained valuable experience and insight into what it takes to present a winning case in immigration court.
EDUCATION
Mr. Favero earned his Juris Doctor from The University of Notre Dame Law School in 2008. While in law school, Mr. Favero served as an executive editor for the Journal of College and University Law. He also represented numerous pro bono clients through Notre Dame's Legal Aid Clinic and worked as a research assistant. Mr. Favero earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Journalism and Public Relations from West Virginia University in 2005 and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
ADMISSIONS AND MEMBERSHIPS
Mr. Favero was admitted to the California State Bar in December 2008. He is admitted to practice before the California Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Favero is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. |
